This is the door into the bathroom, a pocket door, and the door to the right is to the toilet. Across from the toilet door is the shower door. It's a poorly designed bottleneck.
We're replacing the countertop, moving the heater vent under the cabinet and removing the hotel wall mirror as well as new tile floor.
This little wall is out! The blue patch is future bathroom color.
First day of work the shower, tile floor, wall and countertop were removed.
This shows the pocket door in the wall. We're going to remove this door and replace it with the swinging door that is currently at the toilet. This then becomes the wall where the shower plumbing will go.
Second day of work, the floor has been dropped to build the shower floor that will be level with the rest of the bathroom floor.
After looking at the room with shower removed we decided to remove the wall above the toilet door and move the entry door a few more inches in that direction to give more room in the shower.
